Elemore Ladies Club

The Ladies Club started in January 1961, is open to all women over 18 years and is non political. We now have 57 members an increase of 9 members. Meetings are every 2 weeks on Tuesdays at 7pm and the meetings are very well attended. We have a committee of 10 members who meet every few weeks to discuss future programmes etc. The AGM is held in March and we are also members of the Charity Commission for England & Wales and we have speakers, demonstrations of various crafts & skills with an aim to give informal education and bring out the skill of our members. At each meeting we have a competition with a lot of interest from the ladies, also outings to the theatre, day trips, birthday & Christmas parties and bingo. The committee entertain also. The programmes are varied with a view to catering for members of all ages.
